The story of RVInsurances.com doesn’t start in a corporate boardroom. It starts in the Southern California desert.

Our founder, Marty Adair, has been a licensed Property and Casualty Broker since 1997. He cut his teeth working in his family’s insurance business in Southern California. But there was a massive, expensive problem hiding in his own backyard that sparked a revolution in how RVs are protected.

Marty noticed a huge trend: large groups of travelers were taking high-valued, luxury RVs, diesel pushers, and custom toy haulers out to the Southern California deserts for the weekend.

When Marty looked at how these massive rigs were insured, he realized these owners were playing a dangerous game of roulette. They were relying on standard auto policies that completely failed to protect their rigs the second they hit the sand. They had dangerous gaps in off-grid liability, no protection for their custom upgrades, and zero coverage if their luxury toy hauler was severely damaged out in the elements.

It was a glaring gap in the market. RV owners needed a specialty insurance solution—one that provided iron-clad coverage for the realities of the lifestyle, without draining their travel funds.
